Can I really run my motor with the cover on?
Yes, that is the whole point. Every cover is custom-patterned to your cowling and vented with breathable mesh, so air flows to the engine while you idle, troll, and run between spots. They are tested from trolling to full-out operation. (Not recommended for racing applications.)
How do I know it will fit my engine?
Covers are cut to a specific make and model for a glove-tight fit. Choose your engine (Yamaha, Mercury, or Suzuki model) on the product page before adding to cart. Message us if you do not see your exact model.
How does it stay on?
A woven nylon base cord cinches the cover to the engine. It installs in seconds and holds at normal running speeds.
What does it protect against?
Sun and UV, salt, rain, and dock debris: the things that fade, chalk, and corrode a cowling over a season. Shielding the motor helps extend its life and keeps it looking new.
Is this a long-term storage cover?
No. It is built to be used: breathable and lightweight for airflow and running. For long-term dry storage a heavy traditional cover lasts longer; ours is made for everyday protection on the water.
How much is shipping, and how fast?
Ships same or next business day. Flat $8.95 in the continental US, free on two or more covers.
What is your return policy?
30 days on unused covers in original packaging with proof of purchase. Note: solid-color covers are made specifically for you and are not returnable. We replace defective or damaged items. Email info@outerenvy.com.
Where are they made?
Designed and manufactured in the United States, printed with full-spectrum, high-quality techniques. Outer Envy is a small US shop based in Florida.
